What is Quality Assurance? [Why It's Important To Your New Website]

Share this post:

What is quality assuranceQA. Quality Assurance. If you’ve worked on any type of project before you’ve probably heard this term before.

If you haven’t, QA is the process during a project where you put the thing you’re working on, in our case, websites, under a series of tests and user scenarios.

QA is an important process in any project to ensure that your product is 100% ready for launch. You don't want to find out afterwards that everything is a mess and broken like Apple did this week with their iOS 8 update. We don't need any crying Dawsons.

Testing and QA is something that we at LyntonWeb think about a lot.

The Facebookification of Twitter [Whatever you're doing Twitter, STOP]

Share this post:

Twitter is becoming FacebookI love Twitter. I first signed up in June of 2007 and never looked away. I was instantly hooked, and I'm very vocal about my love for Twitter, as well as helping new users learn how to use the service.

Things on Twitter moved a bit slower back then. It was easy to follow a couple hundred people and still read your entire feed easily. It’s a little trickier now that Twitter is a lot more popular and that on average there are 6,000 tweets posted every second.

Twitter has hinted at implementing a Facebook style filtered news feed for a while, and Anthony Noto, Twitter’s CFO, confirmed this a few weeks ago at a financial conference.

I am pretty vocal about my hatred of Facebook.

HubSpot has been at it again, working over the past year to make that relationship building easier as the reliance on old sales methodologies give way to inbound marketing and sales
