How to Use This Module
The Social Follow module is designed to increase your restaurant’s or local business’s social media engagement by providing visitors with easy access to all your social platforms. This module works particularly well in your website’s footer, sidebar areas, or at the bottom of blog posts where visitors naturally look for ways to stay connected with your brand.
When adding this module through HubSpot’s drag-and-drop page editor, you’ll find it integrates seamlessly with the Bussin theme’s vibrant aesthetic. The module automatically inherits your theme’s color palette, but you can customize the icon colors to match specific brand requirements or create contrast for better visibility.
Best placement strategies include adding it to your contact page to complement your address and phone information, incorporating it into your homepage hero section for immediate visibility, or including it in your blog template to encourage social sharing after customers read about your latest menu items or events.
The vertical and horizontal direction options give you flexibility for different page layouts. Use the horizontal layout in header or footer areas where space is wide but shallow, and choose vertical orientation for sidebar placements. When using vertical direction, take advantage of the label height adjustment feature to ensure your social icons align perfectly with surrounding content.
For restaurants specifically, prioritize Instagram and Facebook links since these platforms are crucial for showcasing food photography and building local community engagement. The custom social option allows you to include platform-specific links like Yelp, Google My Business, or food delivery apps that are essential for restaurant marketing.
Remember to test your social links after publishing, and consider updating your social media URLs in the HubSpot theme settings if you need to change them across multiple pages simultaneously.
