Usage Guide

The Call to Action Link section provides a minimalist approach to driving user actions without the visual weight of traditional button-heavy CTAs. This section works particularly well for SaaS and technology companies that want to maintain a clean, professional aesthetic while still guiding users toward key conversion points.

You can add this section to any page through HubSpot’s drag-and-drop page editor by selecting it from the Framework+ sections library. The accent background automatically pulls from your theme’s color settings, ensuring brand consistency across your site without manual color matching.

When to choose this section: Use the CTA Link when you want a subtle call-to-action that doesn’t compete with other page elements. It’s ideal for secondary actions, such as linking to documentation, scheduling demos, or directing users to resource pages. This section works exceptionally well on landing pages where you’ve already captured attention with hero sections and want to provide a gentle next step.

The Theme Buttons module within this section gives you control over link text, destination URLs, and button styling through the page editor’s right sidebar. You can customize the link to open in new tabs for external resources or keep users on your site for internal navigation.

Best placement practices: Consider positioning this section between content blocks to create natural transition points, or use it as a page footer element to capture users who’ve consumed your main content. The clean design makes it suitable for both desktop and mobile experiences, maintaining readability across all device sizes.

For optimal conversion tracking, connect your CTA links to HubSpot’s analytics tools to measure click-through rates and user engagement directly from your marketing dashboard.
