Usage Guide

The Hero - Simple Image section is designed to create powerful first impressions with minimal visual complexity. This section works particularly well for SaaS landing pages, product announcements, and campaign-specific pages where you want the hero image to carry the primary visual impact while a concise headline delivers your core message.

When adding this section through HubSpot’s drag-and-drop page editor, you’ll notice it uses a clean two-column layout that automatically adapts to different screen sizes. The Theme Image module handles responsive image delivery, ensuring your hero visual loads quickly across all devices. You can upload high-resolution images up to 2048px wide for optimal display on desktop screens.

The Theme Rich Text module gives you flexibility beyond simple headlines – you can include subheadings, brief descriptions, or call-to-action buttons using HubSpot’s rich text editor. However, the section’s design philosophy favors restraint, so keep your text content concise to maintain the visual balance between image and copy.

This section differs from Framework’s other hero options by prioritizing image prominence over text hierarchy. Choose the Simple Image hero when your product or service benefits from strong visual representation, such as software interfaces, physical products, or brand lifestyle imagery. It’s particularly effective for A/B testing different visual approaches since you can easily swap images without restructuring the entire page layout.

For best results, use images with consistent lighting and avoid busy backgrounds that might compete with your headline text. The section automatically applies Framework’s typography scaling, ensuring your headlines remain readable across all device breakpoints while maintaining the theme’s clean aesthetic.
