How to Use This Module
The Hero - Blog Post module serves as the primary header for your blog post pages, creating an engaging first impression that encourages readers to continue with your content. This specialized module automatically pulls information from your blog post metadata, including the title, publication date, author details, and featured image, eliminating the need for manual content entry on each post.
When you’re working in the HubSpot page editor on a blog post template, you’ll find this module in your drag-and-drop toolkit. The module intelligently adapts to your content strategy by allowing you to control which elements appear above your blog content. For nonprofit and education organizations using the Impact theme, this creates a professional, magazine-style layout that builds credibility with your audience.
Best practices for implementation: Position this module at the very top of your blog post template for maximum impact. The featured image overlap feature works particularly well when you have a contrasting section below—try pairing it with a white or light background content area to create visual depth. If your organization frequently publishes content across multiple topics, enable the “show all tags” option to improve content discoverability and help readers find related articles.
The social sharing configuration deserves special attention since it directly impacts content amplification. While the module defaults to major platforms, consider your audience demographics when customizing—education organizations might benefit from including platforms like Pinterest for visual content, while nonprofits might prioritize LinkedIn for professional networking.
Remember that any styling changes you make in the theme settings will apply across all blog posts using this template, ensuring brand consistency throughout your content library without requiring individual page modifications.
