How to Use This Module
The Image Link Slider module is designed to help nonprofits and educational organizations showcase key initiatives, programs, or calls-to-action through visually engaging image carousels. This module works particularly well on homepage hero sections, program overview pages, and campaign landing pages where you need to highlight multiple important items without overwhelming visitors.
When adding this module to your page in the HubSpot page editor, drag it into a section that’s configured for full-width content to take advantage of the Impact theme’s bold, visual design philosophy. The slider automatically adapts to different screen sizes, ensuring your content looks professional on both desktop and mobile devices.
Strategic placement recommendations: Use this module early on your homepage to feature your organization’s core programs or recent achievements. On service pages, it can effectively showcase different offerings or success stories. For campaign pages, populate each slide with specific action items or donation opportunities to guide visitor engagement.
The left-side heading feature allows you to provide context for the entire slider, such as “Our Programs” or “Ways to Get Involved,” while each individual slide can link to dedicated landing pages for deeper engagement. Consider using high-quality, consistent imagery across all slides to maintain visual cohesion with your brand.
Content strategy tip: Limit your slides to 3-5 items for optimal user experience. Too many slides can reduce engagement, while fewer slides ensure each item receives adequate attention. When configuring the screen reader text, use descriptive language that clearly communicates the purpose and destination of each slide to ensure your content remains accessible to all visitors.
The dark mode styling option makes this module particularly effective when placed over background images or colored sections within your page layout.
