How to Use This Module
The Related Resources module is designed to keep visitors engaged by connecting them to additional valuable content on your site. This module works particularly well for nonprofits and educational organizations using the Impact theme, as it helps create a comprehensive resource ecosystem that encourages deeper exploration of your mission and programs.
You’ll find this module most effective on blog posts, case study pages, and resource landing pages where visitors are already consuming content and may want to discover related materials. The module automatically adapts to the Impact theme’s bold typography and visual hierarchy, ensuring related resources feel integrated rather than like an afterthought.
When adding this module through the drag-and-drop page editor, consider placing it near the bottom of your content but above any contact forms or donation calls-to-action. This positioning catches readers who’ve finished your main content and are ready to continue their journey.
The dynamic content feature is particularly powerful for busy content managers. Rather than manually updating related resources on every page, you can set filtering rules once and let the module automatically surface relevant content as you publish new blog posts or resources. For example, if you’re writing about education programs, the module can automatically pull other posts tagged with “education” from your portal.
Pro tip: Use the manual selection option for your most important pages where you want precise control over which resources appear. This works especially well for cornerstone content pages or campaign landing pages where you want to guide visitors to specific next steps.
The thumbnail and summary options help you balance visual appeal with information density – show thumbnails for a more visual approach that aligns with Impact’s design philosophy, or hide them for a cleaner, text-focused list that loads faster on mobile devices.
