How to Use This Module
The Social Sharing module is designed to encourage visitors to amplify your nonprofit or educational content by making it easy to share across multiple platforms. This module is particularly effective for Impact theme users because it maintains the theme’s bold visual style while providing essential social functionality that helps extend your organization’s reach.
You can add this module to any page template in your HubSpot page editor by dragging it from the module library. The module works exceptionally well on blog posts, event pages, and campaign landing pages where social sharing can significantly boost engagement and visibility for your cause.
When configuring the content settings, you have flexibility in choosing which social platforms to display. Consider your audience demographics when selecting platforms — LinkedIn works well for professional education content, while Pinterest may be more suitable for visual campaigns or community outreach materials. The email sharing option is particularly valuable for nonprofit organizations, as it allows supporters to personally recommend your content to their networks.
The Dark Mode styling option in the theme settings helps the social icons integrate seamlessly with Impact’s bold design aesthetic. You can customize the icon appearance to match your brand colors and choose whether to enclose icons in shapes for better visual consistency with your other page elements.
For optimal placement, position this module near the top of long-form content pages or immediately following compelling calls-to-action. This strategic positioning captures visitors while they’re most engaged with your content. The module automatically inherits your page’s URL and title for sharing, eliminating the need for manual configuration when you publish new content or update existing pages.
