How to Set Up Your Membership Login Template

This specialized template creates a dedicated sign-in experience for your HubSpot Memberships, providing a clean, distraction-free login page that aligns with Rubric’s structured design philosophy. Unlike standard page templates, the membership login template is automatically configured with minimal navigation elements to focus user attention on the authentication process.

When you assign this template to your sign-in page through the Private Content settings, it automatically applies the “Landing” header type configuration. This removes the standard navigation menu and creates a streamlined experience that reduces friction for returning members. The transparent header option is intentionally disabled to maintain visual clarity and ensure the login form remains the primary focal point.

Setting Up Your Login Page

Navigate to Website > Private Content > Pages in your HubSpot portal and locate the “Sign in page” setting. Select this Rubric membership login template from the dropdown to replace any default styling with the theme’s cohesive design system. The template will inherit your global theme settings while applying membership-specific optimizations.

Customization Options

While the core login functionality is handled by HubSpot’s membership system, you can customize the surrounding page experience through the Page Settings module. The pre-configured “Version 1” landing header provides a balanced layout that works well for education institutions and organizations with formal branding requirements.

Consider adding your institution’s logo or welcome messaging through the global header settings to create a branded experience that reassures users they’re accessing the correct portal. The template’s content-first approach ensures fast loading times, which is particularly important for mobile users accessing your membership content on-the-go.
