How to Use This Template
This template creates a secure, branded password reset experience for your HubSpot Membership users. Unlike generic system pages, this template integrates seamlessly with your site’s design while maintaining the necessary security protocols for password changes.
The template automatically handles the technical aspects of password validation and reset functionality, so you don’t need to configure any custom code or forms. When members click a password reset link from their email, they’ll land on a page that matches your institution’s branding rather than a default HubSpot interface.
Setting Up Your Reset Page
Navigate to Website > Private Content > Pages in your HubSpot portal and locate the “Create new password page” setting. Select this Rubric template to replace the default system page. The template will immediately inherit your site’s global styling, including fonts, colors, and navigation elements defined in your theme settings.
Customization Options
The Page Settings module gives you control over the header presentation. The “Landing” header type removes standard navigation to create a focused, distraction-free experience for users completing their password reset. This prevents members from navigating away mid-process, which could cause confusion or security issues.
Since this is a system template, you cannot add additional modules through the page editor. However, the template automatically pulls your site’s global partials, ensuring consistent footer information and branding elements appear on the reset page.
Best Practices
Consider testing the password reset flow regularly to ensure the page displays correctly across different devices. The template’s responsive design adapts to mobile screens, which is crucial since many users access password reset emails on their phones. Remember that this functionality requires CMS Hub Enterprise, and the template will only function properly when HubSpot Memberships is fully configured in your portal.
