Usage Guide

The Section Heading module serves as a navigational anchor point and visual separator for your page content. When you add this module to your pages in the HubSpot page editor, it automatically integrates with any Page Nav or Table of Contents modules you’ve included elsewhere on the same page, creating a seamless internal navigation system.

When to use this module: Add Section Heading modules at the beginning of major content sections on long-form pages like service pages, resource libraries, or comprehensive guides. This is particularly effective on landing pages where visitors need to quickly jump between different topics or offerings.

Chapter title functionality: The chapter title field is your secret weapon for clean navigation. While your main heading might be descriptive and keyword-rich for SEO purposes, the chapter title can be a shorter, more navigation-friendly version that appears in your table of contents. For example, your heading could be “Our Comprehensive Digital Marketing Services” while your chapter title is simply “Services.”

Dark mode considerations: The dark mode toggle is especially useful when placing this module over background images or colored sections. You can easily switch the text color to maintain readability without adjusting your overall theme settings.

Alignment best practices: Center alignment works well for introductory sections or when the heading stands alone, while left alignment is typically better for headings that introduce body content blocks. Right alignment can create visual interest when used sparingly with shorter headings.

The eyebrow text feature allows you to add contextual information above your main heading, perfect for category labels, step numbers, or brief descriptors that help orient your visitors within your content hierarchy.
