Usage Guide

The Related Posts module helps you increase page engagement and time on site by automatically showcasing relevant blog content to your visitors. This module works particularly well on blog post pages, resource pages, and topic cluster landing pages where you want to guide readers to additional related content.

When you drag this module into your page editor, it intelligently analyzes the current page’s content and tags to surface the most relevant blog posts from your HubSpot blog. You can override this automatic behavior by specifying particular tags or date ranges, giving you precise control over which posts appear.

Best placement practices: Position the Related Posts module at the bottom of blog post content or in sidebar areas on landing pages. On resource pages, place it after your main call-to-action to provide additional value without disrupting conversion flow.

The module’s filtering options make it versatile for different content strategies. Use tag-based filtering to create topic-specific recommendations, or leverage the date range feature to highlight seasonal campaigns or recent announcements. When pulling from multiple blogs in your portal, you can specify which blog sources to include, ensuring only relevant content categories appear.

Performance tip: Limit posts to 3-4 items on mobile-responsive designs to maintain clean layouts. The thumbnail and summary options help create visually appealing cards that encourage clicks, while hiding these elements creates a more minimal, text-focused approach.

Remember that the module’s border styling is controlled through Theme Settings rather than individual module settings, ensuring consistent visual treatment across all Related Posts modules on your site. This centralized approach maintains brand consistency while saving you time when managing multiple pages.
