Usage Guide
This two-column section creates a balanced visual hierarchy by placing imagery on the left while your primary message takes center stage on the right. The image-left layout is particularly effective for showcasing product features, team member spotlights, or company story content where the visual context supports your written message.
When building pages in the HubSpot page editor, you can drag this section directly from the theme’s section library onto any page type. The left column automatically scales your uploaded images to maintain proper proportions across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, while the right column provides flexible text formatting options through HubSpot’s rich text editor.
Choose this section when you want to lead with visual impact before presenting detailed information. This layout works exceptionally well for service pages where you’re explaining complex concepts, about pages featuring team photos with bios, or product pages highlighting specific features. The left-to-right reading pattern naturally guides visitors from your image to your supporting text content.
For optimal results, upload high-resolution images with a minimum width of 600 pixels. The Spark theme automatically applies responsive image handling, but starting with quality source files ensures crisp display across all devices. Consider using images with subjects positioned toward the right side of the frame, as this creates better visual flow toward your text content.
You can customize the section’s background color and spacing through the theme’s module settings in the page editor. The text column supports all of HubSpot’s content formatting tools, including custom CTAs, bulleted lists, and embedded videos, giving you complete control over your message presentation.
