How to Use This Module

The Blog Post Author module in the Traverse theme helps establish credibility and personal connection with your blog readers by prominently displaying author information. This module automatically pulls author data from your HubSpot blog settings, including the author’s name, bio, profile image, and any associated social media links you’ve configured in your HubSpot account.

When editing a blog post template in the HubSpot page editor, you can drag this module into any section where you want author information to appear. Most sites position it either directly below the blog post title and meta information, or at the end of the article content to encourage reader engagement and social following.

The Dark Mode setting allows you to match your site’s overall design aesthetic, automatically adjusting text colors and backgrounds for optimal contrast. This is particularly useful if you’ve implemented dark mode styling elsewhere in your Traverse theme or want the author section to stand out against darker page backgrounds.

Text alignment options give you flexibility in how the author information is presented. Left alignment works well in sidebar placements or when the module spans the full width of your content area. Center alignment creates a more formal, featured presentation that’s ideal for guest author spotlights or when you want to emphasize the author’s expertise.

To maximize the effectiveness of this module, ensure your blog authors have complete HubSpot user profiles with professional headshots and compelling bio descriptions. The module will only display information that’s available in each author’s HubSpot user settings, so incomplete profiles may result in sparse author displays that don’t fully utilize the module’s capabilities.
