How to Use This Module

The Blog Post Options module gives you granular control over the layout and content display of individual blog posts in your Traverse theme. Unlike global blog settings that affect all posts, this module allows you to customize the appearance and functionality on a post-by-post basis directly from the HubSpot page editor.

When editing a blog post template, you’ll find this module in the right sidebar under the modules section. The module’s settings panel provides toggle switches and adjustment controls that let you tailor the reader experience without requiring any coding knowledge.

Social sharing controls are particularly useful when you’re publishing internal company updates or sensitive content that shouldn’t be widely distributed. Toggle off social sharing to keep certain posts contained to your direct audience.

Call-to-action management helps you maintain focus on posts where conversions aren’t the primary goal, such as thought leadership pieces or company announcements. Hiding the CTA box creates a cleaner reading experience for content-focused posts.

The author information display can be customized based on your content strategy. For posts written by guest contributors or executive team members, showing author details adds credibility. For general company news or product updates, you might prefer to hide this information to maintain brand focus.

Related posts functionality works well for evergreen content and educational articles, but you may want to disable it for time-sensitive announcements or standalone pieces that don’t connect to your broader content library.

Post body width and margin controls let you optimize readability for different content types. Longer-form articles often benefit from narrower widths that improve reading flow, while image-heavy posts might use the full width. Adjust top margins to create better visual separation from your header navigation when needed.
