How to Use This Module

The Back to Top module provides an essential navigation enhancement for longer pages on your HubSpot site. This fixed-position button automatically appears when visitors scroll down your page, giving them a quick way to return to the header without manually scrolling back up.

This module works particularly well on blog posts, landing pages with multiple sections, and product pages where users might scroll through extensive content. The button intelligently remains visible as users navigate down the page, maintaining a consistent position in the bottom corner of their viewport.

When to Add This Module

Consider adding the Back to Top module to any page longer than three screen heights. It’s especially valuable on:

  • Multi-section landing pages built with the Vertical theme’s content modules
  • Blog articles and pillar pages with substantial content
  • Product or service pages featuring detailed descriptions and features
  • About pages with team sections and company information

Placement and Setup

Unlike other drag-and-drop modules, the Back to Top module doesn’t require specific positioning within your page structure. Once added through the Contents tab, it automatically positions itself as a floating element that won’t interfere with your page layout or other modules.

The module’s styling options let you match your brand colors perfectly with the Vertical theme’s design system. You can customize both the button’s background and text colors to complement your site’s color palette, ensuring the navigation aid enhances rather than distracts from your content.

For optimal user experience, the button remains subtle until needed, appearing only after users have scrolled past the initial viewport, making it a non-intrusive addition to any page layout.
