Usage Guide
The Hero - Two Column section is ideal for creating impactful landing pages where you need to balance compelling messaging with strong visual content. This asymmetrical layout positions your primary value proposition and supporting elements like logos or badges on the left, while showcasing a hero image or product screenshot on the right.
You can add this section to any page in your HubSpot site through the page editor’s drag-and-drop interface. Simply navigate to the sections panel and look for “Hero - Two Column” in your available content blocks. This section works particularly well as the opening element on homepage templates, product pages, or campaign landing pages where you want to immediately communicate your brand’s credibility alongside your core message.
When customizing the left column, take advantage of the text flexibility to include headlines, subheadings, and call-to-action buttons. The logo placement area is perfect for displaying client logos, certification badges, or partner endorsements that build trust with visitors. Consider using this space strategically—for SaaS companies, security certifications or integration partner logos can significantly boost conversion rates.
For the right column image, choose visuals that complement rather than compete with your text content. Product screenshots, team photos, or custom illustrations typically perform better than generic stock photography. Ensure your images are optimized for both desktop and mobile viewing, as HubSpot’s responsive design will automatically adjust the layout for smaller screens.
The two-column structure provides excellent visual hierarchy while maintaining fast page load times. Unlike single-column heroes that can feel overwhelming with too much content, this section naturally guides visitors’ eyes from your key message to supporting visuals, making it particularly effective for B2B technology companies targeting decision-makers who need both emotional appeal and logical proof points.
