How to Use This Template
The About template in the Traverse theme is specifically designed to build comprehensive company pages that establish trust and credibility with your website visitors. Unlike standard page templates, this layout prioritizes storytelling and social proof through its carefully structured sections that guide users from your company overview to specific team member introductions.
When you create a new page using this template in the HubSpot page editor, you’ll immediately have access to five pre-configured sections that work together to create a cohesive narrative flow. The Hero - Simple section serves as your opening statement, while the Two Two Section - Image Right allows you to balance compelling copy with visual elements like office photos or company culture images.
Key setup considerations include customizing the Featured Items - Boxed and Featured Items - Three sections to highlight your core values, services, or company milestones. These sections are particularly effective because they use Traverse’s dynamic grid system to maintain visual consistency across different screen sizes.
The Team Listing module deserves special attention during setup. You can populate this through HubSpot’s drag-and-drop editor by adding team member details directly, or integrate it with your HubDB for dynamic updates if you frequently add new staff members. The module automatically handles responsive image sizing and maintains consistent formatting across team member profiles.
For optimal results, configure the FAQ - Left Header section to address common questions about your company history, mission, or working relationships. This positions important information where users naturally expect to find it while maintaining the template’s clean visual hierarchy that makes Traverse particularly effective for business-to-business companies.
