Look Ma, No Hands! What Can your Marketing Department Do Without IT?

Ask yourself these key questions. If marketing's hands are tied by an unproductive relationship with IT, it's time to re-evaluate your marketing technology. You may find that an investment in turn-key marketing software and outsourced services lowers costs, increases productivity, and drives more ROI. See what you can do without IT, from generated demand from your existing contacts database, generating revenue from existing clients, to segmenting real time data that lives in your CRM or ERP, you likely don't need your IT department.

Do you remember dial-up and floppy disks? We do. But technology changes. In fact, the only constant in technology might be change. Dreamforce 2012 Recap

The Dreamforce 2012 conference wrapped last week in San Francisco. It was the largest conference put on by Salesforce in history with over 85,000 attendees. Many large announcements, keynotes, and heavy influencers spoke, attended and made this conference a must-go for us again next year. Didn't get a chance to attend? Here's a video recap of what you missed.

In our Friday 5, we talked about how Instagram has toppled Twitter (at least in August), Apple's apology, and Fuzz.

It's last weekend in September already? Really? When did that happen?

Make it a great week fellow Inbounders and we will see you next Sunday!
