Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lynton (“Lynton”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit lyntonweb.com, contact us through our website, or communicate with us by email, phone, or text message.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected] or 101 S. Reid St., Suite 307, Sioux Falls, SD 57103.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit a form on our website — a contact request, a website assessment, a quote request, a newsletter subscription, or a job application — we collect the information in that form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, mobile phone number, company name or domain, your current technology stack, your area of interest, and whatever you write in a free-text message field.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics provider collect standard technical information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of those visits. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in where applicable, to remember preferences, and to measure how the site is used.

Information from our communications with you. If you call, email, or text us, we retain the content and metadata of those communications, including call records and message history, so we can serve you and maintain an accurate record of our business relationship.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
  • send you information you asked for, and — where you have consented — marketing or educational content;
  • send you text messages related to our work together, where you have given consent (see Mobile and SMS messaging below);
  • operate, secure, debug, and improve our website and services;
  • understand which content and services are useful, in aggregate;
  • meet our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Mobile and SMS messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Lynton, we use that number to send you conversational, one-to-one messages from your Lynton representative — meeting scheduling and follow-ups, answers to your questions, and account or service notifications. We do not send bulk or automated marketing text messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other communications, and does not affect the services we provide to you.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

All of the categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

We retain a record of your consent — including when and how it was given — for as long as we message you and for a reasonable period afterward, so that we can demonstrate that consent was obtained.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use vendors to run our business — website hosting, content delivery, product analytics, customer relationship management, email delivery, and telephony and text messaging. These vendors process personal information on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
  • Business transfers. If Lynton is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

As stated above, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of these categories and are not shared with any third party for purposes unrelated to delivering the messages you asked for.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (such as keeping you signed in to gated content) and for product analytics that tell us, in aggregate, how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the site, though some features may not work as intended.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the duration of our business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.

Your rights and choices

You can:

  • ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
  • ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records;
  • unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message we send;
  • reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving text messages;
  • ask us not to sell or share your personal information — a request we honor by default, because we do not sell or share it.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation; we honor those rights where they apply.

Security

We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure we host and operate ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website links to sites we do not operate. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by direct notice where appropriate.
