Content Marketing Tools You Don't Use - Inbound Marketing Highlights

Content marketing toolsHi there, I'm Roman. Welcome, fellow inbound marketing friend. How has your January been? Fast? Yes, here too. On to February with some 'hot off the press' highlights.

The 5 Best Content Marketing Tools You Aren't Using - There are a ton of tools out there. Be smart about the amount of tools you use and the time you invest in them. Too many tools with not enough time will not bring you the results you seek. OK, warning over. Of the tools mentioned in the articles - Outbrain and Buzzsumo are ones I would tell you to try. Outbrain gets your content in places you might not be able to get it on your own - like CNN. Buzzsumo helps get you identify content influencers and hot content in your field.

Why Inbound Marketing is Essential in 2016 - You and I knew inbound marketing was essential back in 2009. But still, we know there are slackers out there. Now, more than ever, with ad blockers and more companies moving to digital paid ads it's important to stand out with your content and with your thought leadership on the specific business problem you can solve. And inbound is cheaper than outbound. You can't beat that. And even if where you doing paid media what are you having visitors land on when they come to your site? Hopefully an ebook or some sort of tool that is useful to them.

Is Social Media The Future of Healthcare? - It's a bit of a misleading headline. As if healthcare will be nothing but social media in the future. I think that social media will certainly be a channel people turn to for health and wellness information. The more engaged healthcare professionals and institutions are in encouraging wellness on social channels the more they'll be able to expand their goodwill and trust through that channel. Social media shouldn't be anything the healthcare industry ignores but it should balance participation with patient privacy, especially with the prospect of doctors and nurses interacting with patients online.

What Disney's Classic Animation Principles Could Teach Web Designers - An interesting read on how age-old design principles from Walt Disney are still revelant today and how they affect interaction with a website. In fact, with websites showing more videos and animation it will continue to be important.

HubSpot's new office has an indoor beer garden and welcomes dogs - Because, well - beer and dogs. Having your best friend at work with you next to a beer garden? Of course you will be able to crank out crazy awesome software code. It's a done deal. Good news to see HubSpot opening a second space in Cambridge.

That concludes this weeks highlights! Make it a fantastic week inbounder!!
