5 Effective Inbound Web Design Tips for Your New Website [Infographic]

Hello! My name is Rob, and I'm a web designer here at LyntonWeb. When people ask me, “What do you do?” I usually respond simply by saying, “I make things look good.” But it really goes much deeper than that. I believe it was Steve Jobs (not Ashton Kutcher) that once said, “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

When designing a new website for a client, it is my job to understand the needs of the user and design a site that not only looks good, but will also function well. The site must be effective in easily getting the client’s message across to the user. If it doesn't, no one is going to be happy with the experience, no matter how cool it looks. This rings true no matter if the client sells a product, service, or raises money for a specific cause. So how do I try to make everyone happy as a web designer?
