contentmarketingsecretsHi there, I'm Roman. Welcome, fellow inbound marketing friend. This week, we discuss Kanban in content marketing, the ROI of inbound and HubSpot in Asia.

How to Use Kanban to Scale Your Content Marketing (Infographic) - If you're looking for the secret to managing your content production more effectively, this is the article for you - especially if you've used Kanban techniques in manufacturing or other industries. And if McDonald's can use Kanban, so can your content marketing team.

3 Ways To Calculate The ROI Of Your Inbound Marketing Efforts - There are a number of ways to approach and track the ROI of your content marketing programs and this post discusses three very effective ones. I particularly like the customer value approach. Think Starbucks: "If the average coffee purchase is $5.90, the average customer visits Starbucks 4.2 times a week and the average customer lifespan is 20 years, the average customer value is: 20 (years) x 52 (weeks per year) x 4.2 (average weekly visits) x $5.90 = $25,771.20."

Now, if your average customer is buying a $20K (USD) software license from you that renews yearly and your leads are all coming from inbound marketing don't give your marketing team credit for the sale only. Think about how long this customer will be with your company and what that value is.

As Paris Terror Attacks Unfolded, Social Media Tools Offered Help in Crisis - As marketers, we're well aware of the power of social media in business. Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy like the recent Paris attacks to remind us of the global power of social media as this New York Times article highlights. From Facebook's Safety Check Tool to Twitter's ability to connect people needing help and shelter in Paris, we see how much social media has woven itself into society.

3 Ways to Prevent Your Web Design from Becoming “Generic” - "Sometimes we look at design inspiration and think, “that’s really cool”, but fail to spend enough time studying what makes it a “good” design. Later we’ll replicate it in a future design and expect the same effectiveness – and often be disappointed."

For example, our data and testing with clients shows there very much still is a fold. It's really amazing to see the small percentage of people that scroll past the fold. Don't get caught up in what's trendy, get caught up in what works.

HubSpot Releases Inaugural Asia Report on Marketing Trends - In the Asian mobile first world, 75% of marketers are prioritizing the inbound approach and are seeing a 3x higher ROI from inbound than outbound efforts.

Make it a great week fellow inbounder. It's almost Thanksgiving!
